Private schools of Kathua adopt 220 girl students under BBBP

KATHUA, Mar 9:  As many as 110 private schools of Kathua district have adopted 220 girl students under “Beti Bachao Beti Padao Campaign”, launched by Government of India and Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has applauded this initiative of District authorities Kathua in his “Maan Ki Baat” program.
This was stated by Sat Pal Mansotra, district president of Private School Association, during a press conference here today, while highlighting the excellent services being rendered by the private schools.
He said that the private schools are playing a vital role in promoting high standards of education to the students everywhere.  “In addition to their basic role in Academics, private schools are giving due care for overall development of children and making them to face competition on all India basis and making their career in different fields with the result that  many high personalities and successful persons got their education from  private schools,” he said.
Mansotra claimed that it was the result of hard work being done by the Teachers of Private Schools that almost all positions of J&K Board examinations are bagged by students of private schools only.
