Udhampur, Mar 1: A meeting of private schools of district Udhampur was organized by district president of Private Schools Association, Ram Parkash to discuss their problems.
Members representing Salmerhi, Tikri, Krimachi, Jib, Rehmble, Chenani, Ramnagar, Majalta, Chakhar, Udhampur, Rathian, Kawa etc participated in the meeting and showed their serious concern regarding the order No. 46 FFRC of 2021 dated 22.02.2021, circulated by Administrative Officer Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools in which private schools are directed to resubmit their information.
The members said that they have already submitted their files for approval/ regulation/ review/ enhancement of fee structure since 2019. “Despite of issuing formal order for the approval/ regulation/enhancement of fee, the Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools has initiated a tactics of delay by returning of all 442 files vide order no 35 FFRC of 2021 dated 19/01/21. Due to this attitude there will be delay in streamlining the fee structure. Moreover most of the small private schools will come to halt on the one hand and restrictions not to enhance fee after a gap of two years will hamper functioning & growth on the other hand,” they added.
General Secretary of JKPSA, Jammu, Ajay Gupta who was a special invitee, said that Government of J&K has hiked 19 percent fare in all public transport but in case of private schools, the Government has become mute spectator.
