Private Schools Association apprises BOSE Chairperson of grievances

JAMMU, Apr 4: A deputation of J&K Private Schools Association, led by president Kamal Gupta called on Chairperson J&K BOSE Prof Veena Pandita and highlighted the issue pertaining to the adaptation of newly imposed annual inspection fee of Rs 3500/ -for three continuous years in addition to the routine hefty inspection fee in the fourth year. The Association members alleged harassment by the authorities while authenticating the results due to the delay in the conduct of Affiliation Committee meeting for the upgradation / extension in affiliation to all those schools whose recognition / affiliation has lapsed on March 31, 2018 etc.
Members also demanded allotment of Board exam centers as per the previous precedent and practice as all private schools possess proper examination halls and other appropriate facilities required for the conduct of Board exams.
Prof Veena Pandita gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them to mitigate all their grievances by taking the matter to the Government.
The delegation included comprised of Rameshwar Mengi (vice president), Ajay Gupta (general secretary), Sanjeev Luthra, Sat Paul Mansotra, Ram Parkash, Lal Chand, Kiran Raina, Usha Jamwal, K S Jamwal, Kuldeep Singh, Malhar Singh, Vivek Chouhan, Yogesh Sharma, Parsh-otam, Vishwa Mohan Sharma and others.
