JAMMU, June 9: In a major initiative for filling up the vacant posts, the School Education Department today assigned look-after charge of the posts of Chief Education Officers and equivalent to 17 Principals of Government Higher Secondary Schools, with immediate effect.
Suraj Singh Rathore, Principal GHSS Akhnoor shall look-after the work of office of the CEO Jammu while Parkash Lal Thapa, Principal GHSS Nandpur, Samba, has been assigned the look-after charge of the post of CEO Kathua.
Nand Kishore has been transferred from DIET Reasi and assigned the look-after charge of Principal DIET Kathua while Dev Anand, Principal GHSS Mansar, Udhampur, shall look after the work of the office of Principal DIET Ramban relieving Vinod Kumar Koul from the charge.
Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal HSS Hatli Kathua has been assigned the look-after charge of the post of CEO Samba while Arvin Kumar Koul, Principal GHSS Gurah Salathia, Samba, shall look after the work of the office of CEO Udhampur.
Hira Lal Pandita, Principal HSS Camp, Udhampur shall look-after the work of the office of Principal DIET Samba while Prahalad Bhagat, Principal GHSS Kishtwar, has been assigned the look-after charge of the post of CEO Doda, relieving Ashok Kumar from the charge.
Vinod Kumar Koul, Principal GHSS Camp, Shastri Nagar, shall look- after the work of the office of Principal DIET Rajouri while Javeed Ahmad, Principal, GHSS GG Mohalla Srinagar, shall look after the work of the office of CEO Ganderbal.
Mohammad Aziz, Principal GHSS Barbug, Imamsahib, Shopian, shall look after the work of the office of CEO Reasi while Ab Majid, Principal GHSS Herman, Shopian shall look after the work of office of CEO Poonch.
Ab Hye Rafiqi, Principal GHSS Dialgam, Anantnag has been assigned the look-after charge of the post of CEO Pulwama while Mohammad Yousuf Hafiz, Principal GHS Kangan shall look after the work of the office of CEO Anantnag vice Ab Roub Shad.
All Hussain, Deputy CEO Mendhar, Poonch, shall look-after the work of the office of Principal DIET Shopian while Mohammad Matieullah Masoodi, Principal GHSS Tarathpora, shall look-after the work of office of the Principal DIET Bandipora.
Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri, Principal GHSS Shopian shall look after the work of the Principal DIET Beerwah, Budgam.
In its June 7 edition, the Excelsior had exclusive reported that five districts are without Chief Education Officer while 52 Education Zones, 121 HSSs and 348 High Schools are lying headless in Jammu region.
Besides assigning the look after charge, School Education Department also ordered transfers and postings. Ab Roub Shad, Incharge CEO Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as Incharge CEO Bandipora vice Javid Ahmad, who has been transferred and posted as In-charge Principal DIET, Kupwara.
Meanwhile, according to another order by the School Education Department, services of N P Singh (HSS Jourian Jammu), Pawan Kumar Gupta (DIET Samba) and Kishore Kumar (GHSS Kishtwar) have been placed at the disposal of Director State Council of Educational Research & Training, J&K (SCERT).
