BHADERWAH, June 4: A Principal of Government institution allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Neeru Nallah at Bhalla here.
As per police sources, Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Bhart, district Doda namely Dev Raj, son of Hari Lal of village Bhalla allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Neeru Nallah at Bhalla.
On getting information, police team from Bhalla police post rushed to the spot and retrieved the body of the victim from the nallah.
Later, the body was shifted to Public Health Centre (PHC) Bhalla and after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this regard has been registered at police post Bhalla and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
