Srinagar, Aug 1: Police today said a principal was arrested after he allegedly molested a teenage girl student in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. A police spokesman said that police station Kulgam received a information that Principal of Leads Convent School Kulgam has molested a girl (name withheld), who is 9th standard student. “Acting on this information, police swung into action and arrested the accused. The statements of witnesses have been recorded,” he said.
The spokesman said that a case under FIR number 114/2017 under section 342, 354 RPC was registered in police station Kulgam and investigation was taken up.
