JAMMU, June 7: A meeting of all HoDs, XENs and other senior officers was held today under chairpersonship of Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal GMC Jammu to review progress on upgradation works in GMC & Associated Hospitals, Jammu.
The projects reviewed in the meeting were upgradation work of R N Chopra Nursing Home, upgradation work of sewage system in GMC and taking over of new 100-bedded emergency block.
The Principal directed the concerned officials to submit the roadmap of works to be undertaken in Chopra Nursing Home within one day and to complete the maximum work latest by one month. It was apprised during the meeting that plumbing works shall start first followed by mechanical and electrical works while sewerage upgradation works shall be done floor wise starting from the 5th floor.
Regarding new emergency block, XEN Police Housing Corporation was directed to complete the remaining works including connection with old emergency block and construction of nursing station etc as early as possible.
Administrator of GMC&AH Jammu, Ashwani Khajuria also attended the meeting.
