JAMMU, May 7: Jammu and Kashmir Prisons Retired Employees Welfare Association (PREWA) has demanded release of 10% DA and remaining amount of CPC arrears without delay.
Krishan Singh, PREWA president, said that Government should immediately release 10% DA from January 2014, payment of remaining amount of sixth CPC arrears soon, pending arrears from January to June 2009 to pensioners, revision of pensions of SOs as well as employees of Accounts/Statistic/Sheep/Animals Husbandry.
He urged for issuing orders for raising pension after 80 years of age on Central pattern, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 1000, restoration of commuted pension after 12 to 15 years and others benefits raised from time and again for early redressal.
