President, Secretary of BVP Swami Vivekananda branch resign

JAMMU, Apr 19: President V K Sharma and Secretary S P Khajuria of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Swami Vivekananda Branch, Gandhi Nagar, today tendered their resignations in protest against alleged politics being played by the BVP Prantiya President.
The duo submitted their resignation to Patron of the Swami Vivekananda Branch, M L Vaid, in its executive meeting, held today in the Parishad office at Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
In the resignation, the newly elected team of BVP Swami Vivekananda Branch expressed anguish against alleged hostile approach of the Prantiya President in floating a new branch after getting the members of branch defected for the political gains. The State unit elected president and secretary have worked hard to make BVP a success, but such kind of activities by the Prantiya President forced them to quit, they said.
The executive committee also adopted a resolution reprimanding those who encourages such kind of move in the organisation where the members volunteer for selfless service in the “Bharat Ka Vikas Karyakaram”.
