KOLKATA, June 30:
President Pranab Mukherjee today attended an  exhibition of artworks on the revered President himself here where he  received the first copies of two books, titled ‘Images and Impressions ?  Profile and Persona of Pranab Mukherjee’ and ‘A Pictorial Biography’ of the  President himself containing photographs from the archives of Bengali  daily Aajkal.
Speaking on the occasion, the President said he had earned immense  love from common people, political colleagues and Parliamentarians over  his long career span of 25 years as a minister, 43 years as a Member of  Parliament in both Houses and also as the President of the country.
He further said he will keep visiting various places across the country like  a common man after his retirement from public life.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included the Governor of West  Bengal Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi among others. (UNI)
