JAMMU, Mar 29: Jammu Municipal Corporation today sealed a premises in Gandhi Nagar area for violation of rules.
On the instruction of Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and under the supervision of RS Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement Staff led by the Enforcement Officer, JMC, sealed the premises at 783 A Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The action was taken under Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988, as despite furnishing an affidavit by the owner of the premises namely Sharda Gupta to use the premises for residential purpose, a Readymade Garments Showroom was being run under the name of M/s Ram Krishan & Sons.
