Pre-induction training programme of CRPF inaugurated

JAMMU, Sept 20: Inauguration ceremony of 7th batch Pre-Induction training of 319 trainees of Jammu sector battalions of CRPF was held today in a simple but impressive manner.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by C R Mahapatra, Commandant-137 Bn in the presence of S L C Khup, DIGP Range Hiranagar-Cum-Supervisor ZTC, CRPF, Nagrota, Arun Kumar Rai, 2-I/C 160 Bn, Shyam Gopal Gupta, MO GC Hiranagar, Arun Kumar, D/C, Rattan Lal, D/C, N N Singh, A/C, Amrit Singh, A/C, Apurba Vishwas, A/C, and J N Sinha, A/C (Min.) CRPF.
The aim of this training is to prepare the newly inducted personnel to handle the unique law and order problems of J&K effectively within the ambit of law. Special focus is to devise ways and means to deal with militant attacks and offensive protest by unruly mobs through case studies, participative discussion and experience sharing by experienced officers and prominent guest lecturers. The essence of endeavour is to refresh their knowledge of minor tactics and expertise on newly inducted equipments.
The programme was conducted by D K Jha, 2-I/C , Incharge ZTC Nagrota Hiranagar and vote of thanks was given by S L C Khup, DIGP Range Hiranagar.
