JAMMU, Sept 19: In order to carry out branch cutting and general maintenance work of 33 KV G-5 Line and G-8 Boria Line, which has been damaged extensively during heavy rains recently, the power supply will remain affected tomorrow.
According to an order issued by Superintendent Engineer, Electric Maintenance and RE Circle-I, Jammu, the power supply from G-5 Line areas will remain affected from 7 am to 11 am tomorrow. The areas, which remain affected include PHE Dhountly, Panjtirthi, Dhouthly, Old Secretariat, Pacci Dhakki, Julaka Mohallah, Kachi Chawni, Tange Wali Gali, Karan Nagar, Ambphalla, Mohallah Ustad, Gujjar Nagar, Pir Mitha, Jain Bazaar, MES Nagrota, Circular Road and adjoining areas.
The power supply to the areas fed from G-8 Boria Line will remain affected from 7 am to 9 am tomorrow, which will affect functioning of Boria Pumping Station (PHE).
