Power shut down

JAMMU, Sept 17: To carry out rectification of hotspots and replacement of burnt out droppers and jumpers of 33 KV transformer switch yard of Janipur Grid Station, the shutdown of 132/33 KV Grid Station Janipur is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to areas fed through 33 KV Receiving station Janipur , Roop Nagar, Subash Nagar, Muthi, Sheetli and New Secretariat feeders will remain affected on September 18 from 7 am to 11 am.
Meanwhile, to carry out replacement of 1 No. SF-6 Circuit Breaker at Grid Station Hiranagar for dismantling of 132 KV SF-6 breaker, the power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Basoli, Billawar, Mahanpur, and adjoining areas will remain affected on September 18 from 8 am to 12 noon. However, the power supply to Industrial area of Grid Station BB-ii shall be met from Grid Station Gladni.
Similarly, to carry out development works by M/s IRCON International Limited under R-APDRP scheme, the shutdown of 11 KV feeder is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas will remain affected on September 18 and 20 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Likewise, to carry out works by M/s IRCON International Limited under R-APDRP scheme, the shutdown of 11 KV N-6 feeder emanating from Receiving Station Nanak Nagar is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Nanak Nagar and adjoining areas will remain affected on September 19 from 7 am to 11 am.
However, as per Chief Engineer Elect. M&RE Wing Jammu, the shutdown of 33 KV G-2 feeder emanating from Grid Station Gladni scheduled to be observed on September 18 has been cancelled.
