SAMBA, Oct 16: A poultry farm was burnt due to shot circuit at village Dhora in Samba district today.
According to reports, the incident took place this afternoon due to shot circuit and the fire broke out in poultry farm. After the villagers saw the flames coming out from the poultry farm, they immediately informed to poultry farm owner, namely Nazir. The villagers immediately rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire, but the fire was not controlled. Then they called the Fire Station and after receipt the information fire tender reached the spot and doused the fire, as a result hundreds of chicken have burnt under fire.
The owner of the Poultry farm namely Nazir told that the incident happened today afternoon and suddenly the fire broke out in his poultry farm and 1500 chicks have been burnt due to fire.
The police has taken the cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
