POONCH, June 29: Going tough against the stone crushers operating without consent from Pollution Control Committee (PCC), a joint team of Revenue officials and Police today sealed three units on the directions of District Magistrate Poonch, Inder Jeet.
The Units sealed are M/S Unique Stone Crusher running in Ajote, M/s Mehnaz Stone Crusher and M/S Shabnam Sehar Stone Crusher both in Kalai.
The team consisted of Naib Tehsildars, Randhir Singh, Akhter Abbas Mir and Abdul Qayoom.
The crushers were sealed after it came to fore that the same were operating without fulfilling the legalities from Pollution Control Board.
District administration reiterated that no illegal activity shall be allowed to continue and stringent measures will be taken against all such units which do not fulfill the criteria set by the Govt.
