MENDHAR, Feb 9: It sounds strange but true that in a Govt School where practical examination of 12th class students was going on in Harni area, a political rally was also going on in the same premises in Poonch district.
The rally of Congress leader and former MLC Murtaza Ahmed Khan was allowed by the Principal of Govt Higher Secondary School, Harni and staff. There was practical examination of the students of Environment Sciences of class 12th. The loud sound system had been installed for the political rally in the Govt school premises. The children were getting disturbed but the School staff hardly bothered.
The parents of the students and other people took serious note of the issue and approached SDM Mendhar Ramesh Kumar and narrated the matter. The SDM directed DyCEO to hold an inquiry into the matter and submit report. He said how Principal allowed a political rally in the school when exam of the students was going on. The SDM when contacted said that inquiry has been initiated and action would be taken in this regard.
