KATHUA, July 12: Kathua police seized four dumpers and one JCB involved in illegal mining today.
Acting tough against the illegal mining in the area, a team of Police Station (PS) Basohli under the supervision of SSP Kathua RC Kotwal and Inspector, Sikinder Singh, SHO in its jurisdictional area found four dumpers and one JCB machine indulged in illegal mining which were being used for illegal transportation of construction material.
Later on all vehicles were seized and were immediately handed over to the officials of the Mining Department Kathua for further action.
