UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: By providing timely help, Police and SDRF team saved life of an ailing woman, who was stuck on the blocked National Highway near Samroli.
The woman had suffered a brain hemorrhage attack and was struck on the other side of the slide. A team of Police Station Udhampur and SDRF, led by PSI Rahul Jamwal, lifted the woman patient and took her safely to the other side where ambulance was arranged.
Thus timely help by the Police and SDRF saved precious life of the woman.
Pertinent to mention that due to blasting of rocks in the road widening process and continuous rain for the last couple of days, a massive landslides took place near Samroli on the intervening night of Sunday- Monday leading to blockage of around 100 meters stretch of the National Highway.
