KATRA, Nov 5: GRP Katra displayed act of honesty by restoring a lost bag carrying cash and valuables to its original owner.
“While routine checking at Railway Station Katra, In-charge Platform Number 1 along with personnel of GRP Katra recovered an unattended trolley bag. While checking the bag, Rs 50,000 in cash and other valuable items were found,” an official of GRP Katra said.
He said accordingly SSP Railways Katra Ranjit Singh Sambyal constituted a team to trace out the owner of the bag. “Due to the professional approach/prompt action, GRP Katra found the owner namely Sadhna Mishra wife of Arun Kumar Mishra, resident of 13/C Jalon Road Oray, Uttar Pradesh and handover the bag carrying cash of Rs 50,000 to the her after verification and completing all the legal formalities.
