SRINAGAR, Apr 20: Police lodged an FIR in Mattan Police Station against ex-MLA’s son for beating up a person and breaking his car under influence of alcohol.
Police sources said that Tariq Ahmad Shah, son of former MLA Abdul Gani Veeri along with his friend Nazir Ahmad Wagay, son of Habibullah Wagay resident of Khanabal Anantnag, reportedly under the influence of alcohol late last night damaged the screens of an Alto car bearing registration number JK18 0007 at Mattan, besides beating its driver to the pulp.
Police said both of them have been arrested and a case FIR number 27/2013, under Sections 392, 341, 323 RPC has been registered against them in Police Station Mattan.
