SAMBA, May 12: Samba police today recovered a decomposed dead body of a factory worker who was murdered on May 8 at Bari Brahmana area and his body was later taken into a auto to Tridian village in Ramgarh and buried in a cremation ground there.
The Ramgarh Police which had received the information yesterday that a dead body has been buried in the cremation ground at Tridian village falling in its jurisdiction, swung into action and started investigation. The police detained some people including a lady for questioning who broke down and narrated entire story to police.
The policemen were deployed at the cremation ground for guarding it during the night so that dead body is not shifted from there by digging it out.
This morning the police took the people detained for questioning to the cremation ground along with a Magistrate to dig out the body from the ground.
Sources said four persons including a lady were detained by the Bari Brahmana Police under whose jurisdiction the murder has taken place on May 8.
The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar a resident of Chatisgarh. He was presently working in pencil factory at Bari Brahmana and was presently residing there. The decomposed dead body was taken to Ramgarh CHC for postmortem.
However the SHO Bari Brahmana Police Station, Inspector Rohit Sharma said that no arrest has been made in this regard and only two persons including a lady and a youth were detained for questioning.
