SRINAGAR, Oct 29: An officer of Jammu and Kashmir Police who was granted promotion yesterday was crushed to death by a truck in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district today.
Police said that the Sub-Inspector Mohammad Yaseen Shah was hit by a Truck-Trailer bearing registration number JK09A-4461 in Handwara Town today afternoon. He was performing his duty when the incident occurred. Shah was only a day before promoted as Sub-Inspector from Assistant Sub Inspector.
