Srinagar, Dec 20: Police today arrested four drug peddlers in Srinagar and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A Police spokesperson said they apprehended four persons and recovered 1215 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession.
He added that the arrested persons were later identified as Ajaz Ahmad Khan resident of Diyarwani Batamaloo, Yasir Ahmad Pindoo resident of Firdousabad Batamaloo, Abid Shakeel Mir resident of Dal Hassanyaar Habakadal and Majeed Iqbal Khan resident of Baranpather Batamaloo Srinagar, presently staying at Sebdan Budgam.
