Srinagar, Feb 11: Police today said it have arrested five gamblers and recovered stake money over five lakhs from the gambling site.
A police spokesman said following a tip off police raided a gambling place in Allochi Bagh area of the city and arrested five people while gambling. “A stake money of Rs. 540330 has been recovered from the gambling site,” he said.
All the gamblers were taken into custody and a case has been registered against them, the spokesman added.
