JAMMU, Nov 22: Expressing concern over non-registration of their land, transfer of land, the leaders of Pakistan occupied Jammu Kashmir displaced people jointly met the Divisional Commissioner Jammu to express their deep concern regarding land registration.
The displaced members said that ever since the notification, their lands are not being registered and hence they are not able to transfer their land. Moreover, displaced people earlier had full rights under Cabinet Order 254-C, 578-C but this letter has created a situation of confusion in the entire Revenue Department.
Along with this, there has been talk of ending the Agrarian Reforms in this letter. After the said notification, a deadlock has arisen inside the Revenue Department in Jammu and Kashmir.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar assured the displaced leaders that after deliberation with Registrar Inspector General, matter will be clarified soon. Displaced leaders Vinod Kumar, Narendra Sharma and Rajendra Kumar were present on this occasion.
