UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: The Punjab National Bank (PNB) distributed 20 Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) among the farmers here on Thursday during a function held at Samroli, Chenani.
Speaking on the occasion, Agriculture Extension Officers, Jyoti Parkash and Veerinder Mohan Padha advised the farmers to use Kissan Credit Cards judiciously by purchasing good quality of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and other farm machinery to increase the agriculture production.
Later, Junior Agriculture Extension Officers, explained about Rabi crops and educated the farmers about soil sampling and seeds treatment necessary before the sowing of Rabi crops.
Punjab National Bank Manager, Romesh Kumar Raina, field officials Agriculture zone Samroli, Sarpanchs and panchs of different Panchayats and farmers were present on the occasion.
