PNB Akhnoor organizes financial literacy camp

JAMMU, Mar 30: Punjab National Bank, Business Unit (BU) Akhnoor in collaboration with NABARD organized a financial literacy camp at village Dasgal in tehsil Akhnoor under the guidance of Bikram Singh Raina, Circle Head, J&K.
The function was presided over by RB Gupta, AGM, RBI Jammu. The camp was attended by more than 100 people from Dasgal and adjoining villages.
Sat Pal Sharma, District Coordinator, PNB Jammu, Mohinder Kumar, Financial Literacy Councilor, District Jammu, RK Bhat from Agriculture Department, Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Surinder Kumar Sarpanchs and AL Pandita, Senior Manager, PNB, BU Akhnoor, participated in the camp.
During the function, RB Gupta gave broader out line of various schemes of Government and Bank. He also apprised the audience about Banks ombudsman and gave details of Kissan Credit Card, and Mudra scheme.
Mohinder Kumar gave details of PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY while AL Pandita enlightened people of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) under which funds are being provided to unfunded/unbanked and small enterprises are being brought under formal financial system by providing them affordable credit.
