PM to review J&K situation today

JAMMU, July 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold high level review of security situation in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow morning soon after his return from the tour of five African nations in New Delhi.
According to an authoritative sources, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will brief the Prime Minister in detail about prevailing situation in the Valley at a high level meeting, which has been scheduled at 10 am.
Minister of State in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh will also attend the meeting, sources said.
Sources said the Prime Minister is keen to restore normalcy in the Kashmir valley and ensure smooth pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji.
Modi is returning to the Union capital tomorrow early morning after successful tour of five African countries. Soon after the return, he would review situation in Jammu and Kashmir, which has developed in the wake of Hizbul Mujahideen divisional commander Burhan Wani’s killing.
