NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Cabinet today resigned to pave the way for a new government to assume office after the completion of the Lok Sabha elections. Dr Singh, who served two consecutive terms as Prime Minister, drove to the Rashtrapati Bhavan after holding last meeting of his Cabinet which recommended dissolution of the 15th Lok Sabha.
Earlier, he gave a farewell address to the nation. (AGENCIES)
