LEH: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Leh on Sunday morning on his day-long visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
Governor Satya Pal Malik, his advisors, Chief secretary, GOC-in-Chief Northern Command, Director General of Police and other senior civil and security officers received Mr Modi at the Leh airport,where the minimum temperature was minus 19 degree.
During the visit, Mr Modi is scheduled to lay foundation stone and inaugurate several developmental projects in Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu.
He is scheduled to meet students of different states in Srinagar before flying back to Delhi.
