PM must invite representatives of social organizations for talks: AIBCU

JAMMU, June 21: Expressing resentment over no invite to representatives of social organizations in June 24 meeting chaired by Prime Minister (PM), All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has appealed the PM to rethink and extend invitation to representatives of various social organizations of J&K.
“PM has invited several political leaders, former chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of J&K for all party meet at Delhi on June 24 to discuss matters regarding J&K UT. Among the invitees are so called leaders who ruled the State and destroyed it on the name of Article 370 for decades,” said Prof Kali Dass, general secretary of AIBCU Social.
He said PM has himself defined such leaders as looters of the State with the remarks “Baap – Bete aur Baap-Beti ne state ko loota” in the past and now the same looters of the State have been invited for all party meet while ignoring the real representatives of the public, which are social organizations.
Prof Kali Dass appealed the PM to invite the representatives of different social organizations of the UT for hearing their views so that Government can reach to the right conclusion. The PM can call such a similar meet for the social organizations separately, he added.
