JAMMU, Dec 18:  A delegation of Plus 2 PSC Lecturers (direct recruits) of Jammu province called on Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand and apprised him of the grave irregularities in the recent tentative seniority list of Plus 2 Lecturers, issued by the department.
They highlighted the illegality of notional effect granted to about 850 DPC promoted Lecturers in gross violation of the guidelines mentioned in the Government order number 743/GAD of 2007, dated 28-6-2007.
The retrospective effect in the School Education Department has been declared illegal and void by the High Court of J&K recently in the case titled Rakesh Kumar and others versus State, they explained.
After listening to the grievances of PSC Lecturers, the Deputy CM passed verbal instructions to settle the dispute regarding notional effect as per the law so that no injustice is done to any body and un-necessary litigation is avoided.
The deputation comprised of Jagdev Singh Chib, Rakesh Bharti, Amit Bhagat, Rakesh Sharma, Mahesh Kumar, Ajit Raj, Ajay Kumar, Pardeep Singh, Manjit Singh Chib, Rakesh Choudhary, Ajay Singh Bloeria and others.
