Plus 2 Officers Association highlights demands

JAMMU, May 12: All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association which has got itself registered under JK UT Act today highlighted demands of the lecturers and principals and other Plus 2 cadre officers.
Addressing a press conference here today, president of the Association Dr Prithvi Paul Raina announced that ”All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association has been registered under JK UT Act. He said other office bearers of the Association include vice presidents Rajeev Kumar Sharma and Neetu Sharma, general secretary Narinder Kumar Sharma, joint secretary Kapil Kumar Banotra, publicity secretary Suresh Kumar Raina and treasurer Sanjeev Kumar.
Besides, Balbir Kumar Sudan (DEPO) is chief advisor, Ajay Sharma (Principal) chief coordinator, Sanjeev Kumar Pandita (Principal) chief organizer, Om Parkash Sharma honorary chief advisor while Om Prakash Sudan, Kundan Lal Raina and Suresh Chowdhury are honorary advisors, Showkat Ahmed Laherwal is convener of Kashmir and Imtiyaz Ahmed Hafiz, vice convener Kashmir.
Dr Karan Singh is president of Kathua district unit, Tarsam Singh of Jammu, Kewal Krishan Sharma of Udhampur, Reyaz Ahmed Khan of Poonch, Amit Sharma of Reasi, Prem Paul Verma of Samba, Nazir Ahmad Yatto of Ramban, Surjeet Singh of Doda, Shishikant of Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed War of Kupwara, Mushtaq Ahmed Mir of Baramulla, Mohd Yousuf of Bandipora, Abdul Hamid Rather of Budgam, Almas Ahmed of Srinagar, Ali Mohd of Pulwama, Mushtaq Ahmed of Kulgam, Khursheed Ahmed of Anantnag and Irshad Ahmed of Ganderbal.
On the occasion, Association president raised various burning demands of the Association viz Assured Career progression and removal of pay anomalies of plus two cadre, releasing regularization lists of all cadre officers which are in the pipeline, issuing transfer orders of genuine cases including females, medical board and others, considering the transfers of Lecturers and Principals after 2 years as per the transfer policy in vogue instead of 4 years and 7 years which is being implemented in recent transfers and making provision of non vacational status in favour of the staff engaged in summer and winter vacations including Principals and Lecturers.-
