JAMMU, June 2: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum, during its monthly meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma, discussed various issues and demands pertaining to Plus 2 cadre.
Deepak Sharma urged the Governor J&K State for his personal intervention to facilitate sanction of Assured Career progression scheme (ACP)/Time Bound Promotion in favour of Plus 2 Cadre by expediting the committee framed by the Government for the same purpose on the analogy of other gazetted cadres i.e. three Time Bound Promotions within a span of 20 years to remove age long stagnation in the cadre.
Forum also demanded expediting of regularisation process of all Incharge incumbents/ retirees including Lecturers, Principals, CEOs and Joint Directors and flayed the Government on these issues for its lackadaisical approach.
Speakers also demanded either repatriation of Joint Directors from KAS Cadre working in Education Department to their parent cadre as Plus 2 Cadre is not a feeding cadre to KAS or Fixation of Induction Quota into KAS in favour of Plus 2 Lecturers/officers of Education Department. They also alleged that this decision of Government has proved to be utter failure as it was done only to create promotional avenues for KAS cadre.
Forum also demanded immediate posting of already promoted Principals and release of promotion list of Principals for which verification process has already been done as many Institutions are lying headless thereby hampering the smooth functioning of Department.
Forum also demanded expediting of release of list of Senior Lecturers as per one-third cadre strength by following the subjudice matter vigorously in court of law by the Government for which young cadre is suffering a lot.
Other demands raised were revocation of SRO-202 for all Government employees including Plus 2 lecturers, restoration of 40 percent college quota, non vacational status to Plus 2 Principals and removal of their pay disparity and Regularization and removal of pay disparity of Physical Education Lecturers.
