Prof Madhu Kishwar’s book on Rasana hits stands

JAMMU, May 14: Panun Kashmir (PK) organised a seminar at Press Club here, today on the topic of `’Layers of internal subversion in India”.
On the occasion a well researched and path-breaking study on highly publicized Kathua rape and murder case of 2018 undertaken by Prof. Madhu Kishwar and published in the form of a book titled as”The Girl from Kathua – A Sacrificial Victim of Gazwa -I- Hind” was also launched.
Prof Kishwar made an elaborate presentation of her study and emphasised that the depth and layers of internal subversion in the country are still not well known and understood. It is this very subversion within the system which has been responsible for the damage to the Indian polity in terms of its civilisational and nationalistic imperatives. She vividly presented the facts and developments during the Rasana tragedy and how through this subverted eco system, a gross injustice happened there. The political establishment, the Governments of the day and other agencies collaborated in distorting the reality and putting the Hindus of this belt under tremendous pressure – brandishing them as perpetrators and supporters of rape, called their Devsthans as havens of rape and forcing them to go in hiding.

She also stated that Rasana proved to be a turning point in the struggle of Hindus of Jammu. The struggle did not stop till the downfall of unholy alliance Government led by PDP and BJP. Prof Kishwar also assured the victims of Rasana that their case needs a reinvestigation and for this purpose everybody has to put an effort before the concerned courts.
Ankur Sharma chief of Ek Jutt Jammu in his address complimented Prof Kishwar for undertaking such path breaking exercise. “Evidence that she has gathered and the analysis done by her would go a long way in cajoling the nationalist Hindus to undertake a fresh orientation of their political thinking”. He advised every nationalistic individual to read and keep this book for their progeny.
Dr Ajay Chrangoo, chairman PK in his presentation castigated the current regime for allowing the security situation to deteriorate in Rajouri and Poonch belt.
He reiterated that Infamous Rassana rape and murder case was an act of “Internal Subversion” which was used to unleash global Sanatan defamation campaign and weaken Hindu resistance against Islamisation of Jammu Province. He maintained that internal layers of subversion can be defeated only by reinstating the uprooted nationalistic Hindu population back in Kashmir as per Margdarshan resolution of the community.
