PK discusses problems of displaced employees

JAMMU, Dec 17: Panun Kashmir in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo its president discussed various important and pressing issues pertaining to displaced employees of the community. The meeting also discussed the present socio-political scenario.
Addressing the meeting Chrungoo, assured the participants that a number of issues are being perused by the PK leadership at appropriate levels. These include the issues like grant of leave encashment on superannuation of the displaced employees, salary and stay of displaced package employees, grant of scholarship to the displaced students under PM scholarship scheme for the JK students, admission to the deemed university institutions under JK quota and HRA -CCA allowance to the displaced employees for which the court has already issued the orders.
He said there is also an imperative need to follow up the issue of implementation of PM employment package in a renewed and reformed manner without draconian conditions while welcoming the grant of 100 percent financial approval by Union Government for all 6000 posts created under PM package.
Virender Raina National spokesperson PK said that his organization is committed to the issue raised by the members of the delegations. He said there is need to have bifocal vision which would cover both immediate and ultimate concerns of the community.
Pamposh Koul senior leader of displaced employees sought support of the KP leadership in the struggle for mitigating the problems of the displaced employees.
Others who attended the meeting included Upinder Kaul general secretary PK and Kamal Bhagati, organizing secretary etc.
