PK discusses prevailing political situation

JAMMU, Nov 22: The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of Panun Kashmir (PK) in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Prof M L Raina discussed the prevailing political situation in the State.
The meeting among others was attended by Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, president PK, Virender Raina its National spokesperson, J L Koul, Upinder Koul, Kamal Bhagati Vijay Qazi, N M Gadroo, Ramesh Koul  and  Sameer Bhat all senior functionaries of PK.
The former president KoA Sanjay Kaul who is on visit to Jammu was the special invitee in the meeting.  He was felicitated by the president of the PK, Mr Chrungoo.
In his address Mr Chrungoo said it seems that the Union Government has decided to give primacy to the secessionist elements led by Hurriyat to conduct the Kashmir affairs. Having allowed anti India Geelani to meet Sartaz Aziz of Pakistan and also let him free to unleash anti India propaganda, anti poll campaign should leave no body in any doubt about that the Government has completely capitulated on the issue. The Government’s decision to conduct parleys on Kashmir with Hurriyat factions is being seen as buckling down before the anti India forces in Kashmir, he added.
He said KPs completely reject all such moves and appeal the Government to settle geo political issue concerning KPs.
Sanjay Kaul said that KP diaspora in US is vibrant and conscious of its responsibilities towards Kashmir. The members of the diaspora would continue to play a pro-active role in espousing the cause of the community in US.
He said the KP community is proud that a member of its fraternity Neel Kashkari is running for the post of Governor of California a large and important State of US.  He was highly appreciate of the role of PK .
Virender Raina also addressed the meeting and strongly advocated the homeland demand.
