KATRA, Mar 22: A male pilgrim from Uttar Pradesh died here today due to cardiac arrest at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
The deceased was identified as Jai Krishan (63), son of Raj Singh of Gautam Puri, Kaka Nagar, Shamli (UP). He suddenly fell unconscious near Pony stand at Bhawan. He was immediately shifted to Dispensary Bhawan where doctors declared him as brought dead. Later, the dead body was shifted to CHC Katra.
Meanwhile, a youth namely Vikram Singh, who was missing from his house in Reasi, was found in an injured condition in an isolated area.
Police has registered the case for further investigation.
