SAMBA, Mar 8: In order to review the arrangements for the forthcoming three-day Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign scheduled to be organized at Vijaypur (Samba) from March, 14, 2013 by Press Information Bureau (PIB), Government of India, a review meeting was held under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Mubarak Singh, here today .
ADDC Samba, Neelam Sethi, Media & Communication Officer, Press Information Bureau Jammu, Sunil Koul, Chief Planning Officer, Sant Ram and other district officers were present on the occasion.
The DDC directed the district officers to highlight their departmental activities/schemes in the campaign so that the public especially the rural populace can get information about various schemes of Government of India.
The DDC assured the Press Information Bureau which is the nodal agency of the campaign, of every possible support, coordination and co-operation from the district administration Samba for making the three days mega event a grand success.
About 30-35 State/Central Government Departments will put up their stalls and highlight the departmental activities during the three day Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign at Vijaypur.
