JAMMU, Dec 2: Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee (PHSC) of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Narinder Singh here today started road blacktopping work in Sainik Colony, Sector-D.
Speaking on the occasion the Chairman said that road blacktopping will not only provide a better and convenient road but will also help in enhancing cleanliness in the area.
He assured that JMC stands committed to maintain optimum sanitation standards across the city especially during the ongoing pandemic and shall leave no stone unturned to work shoulder to shoulder with the people of Jammu in this tough time.
Narinder Singh appealed the people to follow COVID-19 SOPs strictly.
He said that the deadly virus is still alive and coming in new variants form due to which people cannot afford to lower their guards yet.
Prominent among those who accompanied the Chairman were Ravi Bakshi, State Co-Convenor Coope-ratives; Parmodh Chib, BJP District Jammu Secretary and Media in-charge; Dilbagh Jasrotia, Ward President; S.
