JAMMU, Sept 13: To pay homage to martyrs, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has affixed the photographs of four martyred police personnel in their respective educational institutions.
As per official spokesman, in order to pay homage to martyrs of JKP who laid down their lives in the line of duty, the photographs of four martyrs of JKP were affixed in the educational institutions from where they had studied.
The photograph of DySP Manjeet Singh has been affixed in Law Department of Jammu University, whereas photograph of DySP Shally Singh in KV Number 1 Gandhi Nagar, HC Randhir Singh in Government Boys Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar and Constable Mohinder Singh in Government Middle School Digiana Camp.
This gesture was meant to remind the students of their brave and courageous alumni, who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.
