JAMMU, June 6: In a major step toward enhancing healthcare accessibility and community wellness, the People’s Hut Foundation (PHF) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sedna Super Speciality Hospital (SSSH), Jammu.
The strategic partnership aims to combine the philanthropic reach of the foundation with the advanced medical expertise of the super-speciality hospital to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the region.
The formal MoU ceremony took place at the premises of Sedna Super Specialty Hospital. Representing the People’s Hut Foundation, the agreement was signed by Dr Rohit Koul, Director and CEO, in the presence of Ritu Koul, Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), alongside Vikas Koul, Chief Advisor of the foundation.
On behalf of Sedna Super Speciality Hospital, the MoU was signed by Dr Tabinda Qazi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The signing was witnessed by the hospital’s top leadership, including Dr Sushil Kotru, Chairman; Dr Leena Kotru, Managing Director; and Mehran Masood Dar, Marketing Head of Sedna Super Speciality Hospital.
While interacting with the media, Chairman of Sedna Super Speciality Hospital Dr Sushil Kotru said this collaboration marks the beginning of a joint initiative to bridge the gap in healthcare delivery through specialized medical camps, health awareness programs, and subsidized care initiatives for underserved communities.

Emphasizing the strategic long-term vision of this partnership, Vikas Koul, chief advisor of the People’s Hut Foundation, added: “This MoU creates a powerful ecosystem where grassroots advocacy meets top-tier healthcare logistics.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of People’s Hut Foundation expressed immense optimism about the collaboration, noting that this synergy will create a robust framework for sustainable community healthcare development in Jammu and surrounding areas.
