MAJALTA, Oct 18: PHE daily wagers/casual workers, who were sitting on dharna in front of Tehsil Office Majalta demanding release of their 48- month pending salary, today lifted their sit-in on the intervention of MLA Ramnagar, R S Pathania.
The union of PHE daily wagers/casual workers had decided that they would continue dharna till they get atleast 6 months salary before Diwali.
Sensing the situation, MLA Pathania intervened and assured the striking employees that they would get their salary by today evening. After the assurance of Pathania, the employees lifted up the dharna.
