JAMMU, July 4: The executive body of PHE Workers Welfare Association was held under the chairmanship of Bakshi Singh, provincial president to discuss organizational issues, here today.
The Association has decided to reorganize the division level units which have not been functioning according to its norms and as per the aspirations of the employees/workers.
Subash Verma, general secretary of the Association finally made appeal to the employees/workers of the department to participate in the upcoming protest dharna of State Government Employees Joint Action Committee against the State Government which has failed to regularize the services of causal/need base CP workers and removal of pay anomalies in clearical cadre and driver cadre etc.
The meeting also appealed all the employees to reach in front of the Sales Tax Office near Panama Chowk, Jammu on July 10, 2014 at 10 am to take procession to the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
The senior leaders of the Association like Rattan Doshi, Chuni Lal, Ram Labhaya, Kulbhushan Nanda, Ramesh Chander, Manzoor Ali, Ravi Kumar, Sanjay Bali and Ram Prakash were present in the meeting.
