JAMMU, Feb 18: The PHE Employees United Front has decided to suspend its proposed protest programme at Jammu on Feb 20.
In a meeting of the Front held here today under the chairmanship of Subhash Verma, it was unanimously decided that in view of prevailing circumstances in the state after terror attack in Pulwama and curfew/ restrictions going on in Jammu, the proposed protest demonstration programme of the Front at PHE Complex B C Road on February 20, 2019 has been deferred. The next date of the programme will be decided.
Earlier, the members of the United Front paid tributes to the 44 CRPF martyrs by observing 2-minute silence during the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Shiv Kumar Sharma, Bakshi Singh, K C Dubey, Ajay Sharma, Kulbhushan Singh, Ram Labhaya, Mohan Singh, Devinder Singh, Bhanu Partap, Naresh Kumar, Raman Kumar and Surjeet Singh.
