KATRA, June 17: A Ph D scholar of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, has gone missing for the last three days.
The missing scholar, namely Nitin Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Ward number 3, Ramnagar, was doing Ph D in Physics at SMVDU. He was last seen in the university hostel on Sunday afternoon.
The matter came into light on Monday evening when one of Nitin’s friends contacted his family members and sought to know his whereabouts. The friends and relatives, who started searching Nitin yesterday, found all his belongings, including mobile phone, purse, ATMs and other items fully intact in the hostel room.
Later a report of missing was also registered at Police Post Kakryal.
