JAMMU, June 17: Government Degree College, Gool celebrated Annual Day function with pomp and show.
The function started with revelation of “Naat”. The students presented various cultural programs including songs, group songs, group dances, speeches and poems.
The first issue of the newsletter of the college “The Gull” was also released on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Chander Shekhar, Principal of the college said that such functions not only provide some moments of enjoyment to the audience but also educate about rich cultural and heritage of area in particular and of the State in general. He also gave brief history of the college as well as detail of various activities organized in the college.
Later, Principal along with other guests distributed prizes to the students who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities.
The proceeding of the programme was conducted by RezwanWani and Mudassar Ahmed whereas vote of thanks was presented by Touseef Ahmad Zargar.
