JAMMU, May 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has constituted department-specific groups of officers for time-bound implementation of select Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases under the India AI Mission.
According to a Government order, the decision was taken following a meeting of the UT-Level Steering Committee on Artificial Intelligence held on April 7 this year.
The order stated that the groups have been formed to ensure focused on-ground execution of AI-based projects in key departments by using available data and digital systems within fixed timelines and with measurable outcomes.
The initiative has been launched in coordination with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under the India AI Mission.
