JAMMU, Nov 23: A review of Inoperative Accounts Helpdesk (IAH) in Jammu division was convened by Provident Fund Commissioner, Vipra Bhal.
As of now in Jammu division some 275 units have been tracked of having 2253 inoperative account holders so far amounting to Rs.42,27,8330 as per the information received from the district offices of Jammu division.
The purpose of the exercise is that the amount of accumulation pertaining to beneficiaries which has become inoperative will be disbursed to rightful persons.
It was decided that Additional Provident Fund Commissioner, Jammu will contact all concerned employers/managements to inform their employees to submit forms for release of their Provident Fund dues pending in this organization since long.
The Additional Provident Fund Commissioner will make available a list of inoperative account holders to their respective managements district wise at Jammu office or the same can be made available at district headquarters also.
A large numbers of inoperative account holders in provident fund have been tracked in Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua, PHE Division, Akhnoor, PWD Construction Division-III, Jammu Pathankot Lab, Excavator, JK Oil Mill Bari Brahmana and Dul Hasti Power Project, Kishtwar.
An inoperative account help desk has also been launched for the benefit of Provident Fund subscribers in the office of the Additional Provident Fund Commissioner, Jammu.
